How to merge multiple PDF files into one

Merging PDFs comes up more often than you'd think: combining scanned receipts before submitting an expense report, stitching together chapters of a document, or putting a cover page in front of a contract.

With Tool King's Merge PDF tool, you upload two or more PDF files, and each one appears in a list. You can reorder them with the up and down arrows before merging — the order in the list becomes the page order in the final file, so you don't need to rename files or fight with alphabetical sorting to get the sequence right.

Once you're happy with the order, click Merge and you'll get back a single PDF containing every page from every file, in sequence. The original files aren't modified, and nothing is kept on the server after the merged file is generated.

One thing to keep in mind: merging combines page content as-is. If your source PDFs have interactive form fields, those may not stay editable after merging, since the underlying structure of the file changes when pages from multiple documents are combined.
